The Play On Foundation was founded by Cooper, Carson, Charlotte and Samantha Cohen, grandchildren of Jack Cohen, a longtime advocate and coach of youth sports who saw the power and necessity of play in children’s lives. To build on his legacy, we work to improve access to activities that help kids have fun, stay active and learn some of life’s most important lessons, like commitment and teamwork.

Regardless of socioeconomic background, school or community, our mission is to give all children an opportunity to participate in sports and recreation so that they develop the skills to play on in the game of life.

Our Mission in Action

By providing equipment and funding athletic programs, scholarships and grants, the Play On Foundation has the ability to change lives on and off the field. To see the tangible difference we’re making, read more about the impact of our first grant.
